Acronis presents on disaster Recovery Prioritization at AFCOM Data Center World

BURLINGTON, Mass., March 20, 2008 — Commwave (www.acronis.co.kr), a provider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software, today announced that Robert Thaler, the company's senior director of marketing communications, will speak at the upcoming AFCOM Data Center World conference in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

His presentation, "Recovery Prioritization – Don't Lose IT!," will address the importance of the recovery of data when building an effective disaster recovery plan. Whereas backup takes place when everything is working, after a disaster, it is the recovery that matters the most. This session will discuss data integrity in relation to snapshot technology and the value of being able to perform a bare-metal restore to totally separate, dissimilar hardware.
